Typhoon Glenda Emergency (Rammasun) Hotlines and Tips

Typhoon Glenda is said to be following the path of previously strong Typhoon Milenyo way back in 2006 but this time we should be prepared.  Remember that nothing can replace preparation.  Here are some tips and also key emergency numbers in preparation for Typhoon Glenda.

Always remember the following during a typhoon:

  • Keep your phones fully charges.
  • Prepare emergency lights.
  • Keep notes of emergency numbers.
  • Be alert always and be updated.
  • Follow instruction of authorities in cases of evacuation.
  • Prepare food at home.
  • Stay inside your home and do not loiter outside during the typhoon.

Another important thing is to be reminded of the color coding guideline for rainfall which was set by PAGASA.  This serves as a vital key to monitoring flooding in our area.
